Done and Dusted – Her First Year In Uni

So missy has just celebrated another milestone – completing her first year in university. It has been a year filled with new experiences, growth and challenges. Her finals was in May and she moved back home on the last day of May.

Hubs and I helped her move the things back. Actually we have been moving some things back home since the beginning of May and the last big move was on 31st May. Boy, I didn’t realize she has so many things. We almost couldn’t fit everything in our 7-seater car! Well, I’m glad everything is done now and I have also kept everything neatly upstairs so that when it’s time

Just when I thought she can relax a bit during this few months until September when Year 2 begins, she has actually took a proactive step by applying for internship a few months back. She wrote in to several companies and got accepted by one company located in TTDI. She was hoping to join this company as an intern and was over the moon when she got accepted. It’s a good opportunity for her to gain insights into her chosen field and also allows her to apply her skills in a professional setting.

Missy has officially began her 3-month internship. Commuting to work takes her about 1 hour plus as she has to take the LRT/MRT and then the bus to her workplace.  Although it’s a long ride, she remains positive and determined.

I hope she also finds time to rest and recharge amidst her busy schedule. It’s important to take a break to maintain her well-being and also to ensure that she stays motivated for the exciting journeys ahead.
