It’s already Friday tomorrow and the one-week school break just flew by. So what have we been doing during this one week break? Nothing much actually. Planned to go away for a day or two but hubs has been real busy. One special thing did happen though. Ashley became a model for the first time in her life today (earned some money on her own too) 😀 A shopping mall here is preparing for their Mother’s Day promotion and was looking for a girl model. My cousin, Carla who works as a model recommended Ashley to them. So, yesterday we went for a fitting session and today was the photo shoot at the studio. For the past few days, we have been psyching Ashley about wearing a pretty dress and taking photos with her Aunt Carla. I am glad that it went well today and she was well-behaved. The whole session took about 3 hours and my Ms. Vainpot really enjoyed the attention from the crew. Actually the whole team was very nice and efficient. They tried their best to put Ashley at ease since this is her first time 😀

We have been brainwashing her days before the shoot and telling her that she needs to strike a pose for the camera. She came up with this style each time we ask her to smile *shake head*

The ad will appear in the Star newspaper in May, I think. There will also be posters featuring my cousin and Ashley at the shopping mall during Mother’s Day. Can’t wait to see them. Errr….I can’t reveal the name of the mall now…hehehehe. I will certainly post it in my blog once the ads are out 😀 Hope they will be more assignments for Ashley in the future so that we can start saving for her tuition fees 😉

Woww…Ashley looked so calm during the stylist session. It’s great that she enjoyed the photoshooting session. We practically had to coax Brae to go inside the shooting room. Not thinking of getting more assignments for him liao. So Ashley can be next future model…like her Aunt Carla :D.
