Since Ashley has not been on an aeroplane before, we purposely chose Langkawi for our vacation as it is not too far away. The flight is 45 mins. We have been telling her about the flight and what would happen when she’s in the aeroplane. In fact, on that day, I was more nervous than her. 🙂 I was worried that she’ll be scared and cling to me like a koala. Thank God all is well. I am so glad that she enjoyed the ride. When the plane was taking off, she giggled 🙂 I was trying to keep my eyes closed during take-off because I get dizzy easily and there she was giggling away. I stole some glances at her and at the same time, trying to imagine that I was on the ground….hehehehehe.

Getting a bit restless as the plane was not moving. She kept asking me to make the plane move but I told her that her mommy is not the pilot.
Now that the lil’ missy is ok with flying, we can plan to go further for our next vacation 😀
first flight with a toddler very unnerving huh? I brought lotsa mentos, vit c and other candies to let her suck, coz I was afraid of her ears blocked. Ashley is so well behaved, can plan for next holiday already ya ? 🙂
oh, miss ashley is better than my girl anytime.. took her to HK 2 years ago, she was a bit drowsy and coulnt eat the food on plane.. just like mama…sigh… my sons were ok… only us girls got motion sickness..on the way back, i gave her a quarter of dramamine.. at least she did not feel so bad after that…

Hey Barb, can start planning next trip to HK (4 hrs?) then to Gold Coast (7 hrs?). I’m sure she’ll love it!

Andaman is a very nice place, I love it. The next time we go to Langkawi, I want to stay at Andaman too. How’s the room rate like?

Oh….glad no motion sickness or anything! Remember my frist time on the plane, I was so excited but my sis had to be given travelling pills to help her sleep.
I don’t know which is easier on the parent!!! 😉 It would be nice if they slept the whole journey too no? hahaha…
