We made a trip to visit The Gardens, Mid Valley yesterday evening. I was dying to see how the new mall looks like and I must say, it is so different from the old wing. Not sure if this is how it is being referred now (old wing, new wing?) The Gardens, to me looks like BVII but only bigger. Of course, lots of high-end stores available and my favourite is Burberry, Banana Republic and Nine West ;D There are some new brands too like Gant from the US and LongChamp. We wanted to have our dinner at The Gardens but I find that the restaurants which are already opened are not very kid-friendly. Maybe they are not catered to patrons with families.
So, we went back to the old wing for dinner. Checked out Chillies but the waiting time is one and a half hour. Insane!! So had Wan Ton noodles at Spring Garden instead 😀 So, would I visit The Gardens again? Hmm…maybe if I want to go to Isetan or Cold Storage. Other than that, I don’t think I’ll walk around that mall as the stores are not meant for poor mama like me ;D Next on the list is Pavillion ;D
I think you will like Pavilion. But the parking charges is a killer there!
