This afternoon after we had dropped by my in-law’s place, daddy decided to take us to Putrajaya. He heard about the floral thingy being the last day today and wanted to visit it since we didn’t know what to do after leaving my in-law’s house. Took us some time to reach Putrajaya because it’s kinda confusing for first-timer like us 😀 The government offices are huge and beautiful. When we reached the entrance to the government offices, we saw the floral exhibition but the place was full of cars and getting a carpark was impossible. So, we decided to abandon the idea of seeing the flowers and went in search of the lake. After going round in circles, we finally found the lake with a foodcourt. This place is actually beside the beautiful Masjid Putra.
Since it had rained earlier today, it was nice walking along the lake. Ashley was so excited to see the fishes in the lake. I really don’t know what kind of fishes they have in there but they were humongous! There is also a jetty for those who want to go for a cruise on the lake. We didn’t try it because it was getting late 🙁 Must experience it next time. Then we walked over to Masjid Putra as I wanted to see the beautiful mosque but was told by the guard that it was masa sembahyang so no one is allowed to go in. Also, I was not dressed appropriately (in shorts) Bummer 🙁 We left around 5.30pm. My husband suggested that we visit the lake again later this month 😀

i was there on Sat! but the flora show was like kinda so so lor..too bad we didn’t catch the fireworks.
Didn’t know Ashley is also a thumb sucker, like my Sherilyn. I find bbs and toddlers sucking thumb sooo adorable, that’s why i didnt really try to stop sherilyn fr sucking, hahaha….
i was there too last night! To watch the fireworks!But caught in the jam for 2 hours when coming back!:(
