Finally ………….

Today, for the first time in Ashley’s life, we went to Genting………hehehhehe. My hubby has been wanting to go for the longest time but I am not very keen though. I always find this place a bit sleazy because it is full of gamblers and you-know-what. Since he is free today, we decided to go in the morning, after packing all the extra clothing, books, snacks, water, etc. We reached Genting around 11am and it was quite cold and foggy. Then we headed to the area where it’s filled with restaurants and indoor theme park (I forgot the name). Ashley wanted to go on the carousel so I went up with her. She started to cry when the carousel started to move. She kept wanting to get off the horse *slap forehead* I don’t know why she suddenly developed a fear because a few months back, we went on the little carousel at IOI mall and she was fine.

Then she saw the mini gondola ride and wanted to try it. So, I got the tickets and both of us went into the gondola. Guess what? She started bawling when she saw the gondolier *slaps forehead* The gondolier is actually a male manequin holding a stick and he was singing an Italian song. I guess that freaked her out. She kept holding to me tightly, crying and looking at the mannequin. Then she asked me to stop the boat 0_0 She kept calling her daddy and wanted him to save her *lol* It does look kinda funny now but at that time, I wanted to smack her. That was the most horrible 10 minute boat ride I have experienced. After these 2 rides, I told her I am not going on any rides anymore until she is 7.

Then we wanted to go out to the outdoor theme park but it rained 🙁 We proceeded to have lunch at a Hainanese restaurant (pls don’t go there) and after that, Ashley napped in the stroller for only 10 minutes 🙁 Since there was nothing much to do, we walked around the hotels and then sat at an outdoor cafe to enjoy the cold breeze. We left Genting around 3pm and it was still drizzling. That’s how our Genting adventure went 🙂

Darrius don’t dare to sit in any of those moving stuff unless I sit next to him… so he only sat on those that are not moving…. free thrill… hehehehe

Hainan’s food used to be good but now sucks. You should go for the buffet at Terrace Coffee @ Genting Hotel.

You left at 3pm? With Irfan, we couldn’t even leave by 6pm! He wanted to go on all the rides – sans the bumper car – over and over and over again. Tired. But glad that you guys had fun. Sorry about the Hainanese food. We had BK and dunno what the last time we were there. Can never go wrong with fast food. Heh.

Ryan loves all sort of kiddy rides. He will ask mommy for coins the moment he sat on one.
