Ashley was playing around with one of my pillowcases the other day. First she put it over her shoulder and said she’s Captain Wonder. Too much Hi-5 shows 😀 Then she put it over head like this.
She thought it was real funny and kept giggling away. Then she said, “Mommy, I’m Kakak“. Whenever she sees ladies with tudungs on, she’ll say they are kakak. I think I told once at the supermarket that she had to hand over a box of cookies to the kakak at the counter for payment. Since then, she has been referring to all Malay ladies with tudung as kakak 😀
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my Malay friends “Selamat Hari Raya“. Drive safely if you are heading home this festive season.

I was reading this post and was about to comment. Izac saw Ashley’s picture and said, “That one is who? Kakak or no kakak??” *Haha* I guess all kids associate tudungs with kakaks 😛
