Ashley is a thumb-sucker and when she was younger, she would suck her thumb often, especially when she wants to be comforted. Once she reached 1 year old, she would suck her thumb only when she wants to sleep. Occasionally, when I am sitting on the sofa to watch tv or read the papers, she would climb up next to me and do this ……………..
Yup…she has to touch my hair whenever she sucks her thumb (just like this Ashley too). That’s why I have to put the lil’ missy to bed every night. She also touches her daddy’s hair but she prefers mine more *rolls eyes*. Once, when we were at Borders, her daddy was squatting at one of aisles, checking some books. She came, stood behind her daddy, started to suck her thumb and played with his hair. Too bad I didn’t have a camera with me. Otherwise, it’ll be a Kodak moment 😉
