buying a book

We were at The Curve this evening and as usual, Ashley would ask to go to the bookstore. So her daddy took her to Borders while I hopped over to check out FOS and Mothercare ;D While Ashley was in the bookstore, she went straight to the children’s book section. After flipping through a few books, she went to the next aisle and check out the other books. She took one book out of the shelf and started to flip through it. After a few seconds, she handed the book to her daddy and told him that she would like to have this book. She asked him to go to the counter to pay for it and she had this serious look on her face as if she really wanted it. Her daddy’s eyes almost popped out when he saw the book she was holding.

It is The Chronicles of Narnia – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Muhahahahahahaha…if only she know how to read this book. We’ll buy her tons of them. We don’t know why she was attracted to this book because there are no pictures in it. Also, this book is pretty thick too. Kids……they are just too funny sometimes 🙂 My husband explained to her that the book is not suitable for her to read now and bought a Lift The Flap Words book instead 🙂

Ha Ha, somehow I find little kids like to read books that are not suitable for their age. My daugther will sometimes take my books and pretend that she wants to read it.
