Leftover Bread

A loaf of Gardenia bread normally last about 4 days.  Most of the time, we cannot finish one whole loaf before it expires.  There is always 3 to 4 pieces of bread left .  So, I’ll keep them in the freezer and when I have collected about one whole bag of it, this is what I do.

We feed them to the turtles and the fishes at the park *chuckle*

Surprisingly, the fishes don’t seem to like the bread. Maybe they were full or pretty sick of the bread since many park-goers were also feeding them.  Only the turtles would come by when we throw the bread into the water.

true true…when we feel to eat bread there’s no bread but when it’s in front of us most of time we cannot finish…My left over bread usually will end up in the dustbin at the end of the day…bad huh?…but our office here have a colleague who collected expired bread as he have a friend which owned a fishpond so some of us will bring the left over bread from and keep in the freezer while he will autmatically take from there…lol….

I still eat all the leftover bread in the freezer. What I normally do is that after buying the loaf of bread, I will keep half a loaf or whatever I think I can’t finish in 1-2 days in the freezer immediately. I will still eat the frozen bread (I toast them), even after 1 month+. BTW, where’s the park? My gals would love to feed those turtles with bread 🙂

It’s the Bukit Jalil Park 😉
