sugar and spice

When I was a kid, I never like the shade of pink. Black has always been my favourite (that’s because I look slimmer in it….hehehehe).  In some culture, pink is the colour of girls cos it represents sugar and spice and everything nice 🙂 When Ashley was born, I thought it would be pretty sweet for baby girls to wear pink so I bought a few pieces of pink clothings for her.  Throughout the years, I did not just kept getting her pink colour clothes. I bought other colours too, of course, but somehow, Ashley just developed a love for this particular colour as she grows older. Once we were at a Chinese restaurant, she preferred to sit a  table which has pink table cloth instead of red ones *slaps forehead*  Whenever I buy her hairclips and hairbands, she would choose pink ones.  She prefers her hair to be tied with pink hairbands or pink hairclips most of the time.

Ashley is wearing one of her favourite hairbands.

Here are some of her pink collection.

Whenever I change her clothes, for home or for going out, she would pick her favourite colour.  Thank God that she would still wear other colours after a little protest from me 🙂  Her next favourite colour is purple.  She has began asking for purple hairbands lately so looks like we will be doing some shopping this weekend.

Alas! The beginnings of the Princess phase. My two younger girls have just outgrown it, so sad. Now they like green, red, blue, and black more than pink and purple. Enjoy while it lasts.
