All the kids in Ashley’s kindy have a tea set each. They will use this tea set during their snack time. Every day, the kids will have to bring the set home to be washed. It consists of a bowl, a cup, a spoon and a fork. A few months ago, I heard Ashley singing a song which reminded me of my days in the kindergarten. I used to sing the same song before I eat in class. It is ‘The Grace’ song 🙂 My version is like this :-
Thank you God for the world so sweet,
Thank you God for the food we eat.
Thank you God for the birds that sing,
Thank you God for everything.
This is Ashley’s version :-
Thank you God for the world so sweet (ting-a-ling)
Thank you God for the food we eat (yum-yum)
Thank you God for the birds that sing,
Thank you God for everything….TEA SET!!!
Muahahahahahahahhaa……I think her teacher would ask the kids to bring out their tea set right away after saying grace so Ashley has incorporated the word “teaset” into the song 🙂
it’s so sweet of the children to say grace for their food using a cute lil song. i think my son uses that song in school too but i nvr heard him sing in the house as he always uses a ‘short’ version during meal times at home :p
i think my sons had the same “Grace Song”, i always heard them sing, “thank you for the food and drink, allalalalala Ah Ah men!” this is their version of song, i don’t know what is the exact song is. So funny!!
Ashely version is cute, i like the last line Tea Set!! So cute! hahahhaha
hahaha…the things kids come up with! Association of ideas to the MAX!!!
hehe its nearly the same in Jayden’s but before the song ends jayden is eating already 😛
i taught that same Grace song in da kindie that I managed years ago too.. hahahahhaha.. without the ‘tea set’ obviously!
ashley’s version is cute, wonder who taught her 😛
Your Ashley never fails to crack me up. She’s so cute and creative too..hehehhe…
never heard about the song from my boy, think his kinder didnt teach them..
It’s great that they are taught “appreciation” at such a young age.
Ashley is really cheeky huh..hehe. She is a smart gal. 🙂
my son also sings this in school and sometimes we will ask him to sing this before meal time..
