Telaga Harbour Park

Our first stop after we landed in Langkawi is Telaga Harbour Park. Elaine recommended this place to me 😀  Telaga Harbour was previously the site where ‘The King & I’ was filmed. The last time I was in Langkawi five years ago, this place was empty.  Now, it has a stretch of restaurants and some shops plus a base for yachts of all sizes.

The kids checking out the water.

Ashley posing like Daniel. She follows him around all day and when they are in the car, Ashley would fight with him *slaps forehead*

The stretch of restaurants

We had lunch at the Chinese restaurant and we were the only customers there 🙁  Had lobster, egg, tofu, vege and chicken.  Darn expensive too.  I didn’t snap any photos of the food cos we were all famished 🙂  Elaine also recommended that we try Mare Blu so we went back to Telaga Harbour for dinner.  Ordered 3 pizzas and 1 spaghetti with extra virgin olive oil for Ashley.  The pizzas were delicious.  The spaghetti portion was small but still, Ashley couldn’t finish it.  Then we went over to The Loaf and bought some buns….in case we get hungry back at the resort.  Ok…..more later on where we ate the next day 😀
