This is Ashley’s first time on a mini-carousel without her mommy…….hahahhahahahahaahaha. The first time she sat on one of these was at IOI Mall when she was 2. She hung on to me for dear life. The second time was when we were in Genting when she was 3. She cried throughout the ride 🙁
Actually, Ashley hardly sat on these kind of rides because this nazi mommy won’t allow her. Yeah…I know I am kinda crazy and I never let her go on these rides because I know she’ll ask to sit everytime she sees one. Maybe that’s why she cried last time eh?
This incident happened when we were back in Ipoh during CNY. When we were approaching these rides at the mall, my cousin asked Ashley if she would like to sit and she nodded. So, my cousin got some tokens and Ashley happily hopped onto the horse. There were 3 horses on the carousel and she went 3 rounds just to sit on different horses.
my first round
having a fun time
She’s on a roll here. After the carousel, she wanted to try the penguin ride. She did not even want to leave until daddy who was at another shop checking out the Acer Aspire came and asked her to get down 🙂
i like how you described yourself, nazi mom 😛
Why you don’t allow har? Expensive is it?
not expensive. i just don’t want her to ask for the rides each time she sees them at the mall 😀
wei, this daddy always checking out IT stuff eh, even on hols ;-)….
I’m a Nazi mummy too. LOL. Oh..she has conquered her fear already. Let her enjoy it as mush as she wants coz kids need to have fun too..hehe. 😀
bravo ashley!
Barb, Ipoh got this carosel rides? I also dont know.. but then i dont hv small kids.. so how would i know, right? lol..
yes…a mini one at Jusco 😉
my boys are another craze over those electric toy ride. I will let them sit sometime but not always, like you said once they sat on it, they won’t want to come out.
my sis has the same thinking as you. she don’t allow shan leo to sit on any of this rides when he was younger. she is worried that he will ask for it every time he sees one. and all of us are not allowed to let the boy sit on any rides. if we do, sure kena long lecture!
Hi 5 to your sis. We think alike 😉 Yes, I would lecture my family if they let Ashley sit on these rides…hahahahhahahaa
Luckily only 3 horses…. if got 10 how? 10 rounds????? ha hahhh.
Actually, I have the same thinking as you. Prob worse too cos I normally let her just sit for a while on the toy rides but without putting any money !!!! Elyssa had her first real ride about a month ago when my friend inserted RM1 into the slot. (as usual, I was thinking of letting her sit only). I told this friend that everytime Elyssa demands to sit, I will need to collect money from her. ke keehh.
lol, that’s good ashley enjoyed her ride. mine started hers when she was 2 years old and gosh, she wouldn’t get down and i’d to let her ride for like 10 rounds 🙁
and avery is still afraid of mini-train. there’s no way i can get her to ride it.
I can see that Ashley was really enjoyed the ride, her facial expression was so contented.
i wonder when only my xandria can be like Ashley… Bravoooo!!!
Let her ride, over that age already..they paiseh to ride on it anymore….my boy go sit without putting coins also ‘syiok’ one…so far I’m putting coins for this ride can count in fingers…just as long as not too over to feed the machine whenever they want..
Ashley is all grown up now….LOL!
The one in IOI Mall is too fast, maybe that must have scared her. Chloe has been riding on this mini carousel since she was a baby! She’s memang a no. 1 fan of these rides. We usually tell her we don’t have money and she’s happy sitting on a stationary one 🙂
Kids are like this, Once they know the rides is fun they sure want to ask again and again. Hence we normally walk away if we see any rides, don’t want to let the kids see. Once they see, mean they want the ride.
Ashley loves the rides but usually it’s a treat for her whenever she finishes her meal or do what I ask her to do. I try not to let her sit on the rides that often, otherwise no more options for me to ‘blackmail’ her kekeke
hahaha….yeah…I kinda regret now letting boyboy sit on some of the rides. He does sometimes throw a tantrum of wanting to sit on some when we pass by! I tell you the way the shopping complexes make money! 🙂
But that aside! Good for Ashley….looking good in her new outfit too!
mine also fancee of kiddy rides. sometimes when i spot one from afar & donwan to spend time on it, i will whisper to hubs “oi, turn left turn left, incoming!” then we will grab her & run away. hahahaha!
awwww she must of felt like a little princess riding those horses =)
Hahah… first time HQ sat on the carousel in Genting, he too hung on to me :-). He was 1 then. Now? Everytime he sees one, he must go on it with QQ. Luckily by the second round, he gets bored :-).
my girl is the same too, she wants to sit on every horse ….glad that Ashley finally enjoys the ride…
