a lil project

cake
Well, in my case, MAKE a cake cos I don’t have an oven 😉  I tried to make Ice Cream Cake after seeing it from MNHL Diary’s blog.

SAM_0300

Bought some Digestive Cookies for the cake base.

a tub of vanilla ice-cream

I don’t have a rolling pin so I used a glass container to crush the cookies in a bag.  Ashley helped me 🙂  After crushing them, I mix it with some melted butter.  Then, I pressed them onto the tray and refrigerate it for 30 mins to harden the base.

melted the ice-cream and beat it till fluffy

poured the ice cream into the tray which has been lined with the Digestive cookies and freeze it.  Easy peasy for someone like me who doesn’t know how to bake.  The ice-cream cake which looks more like a dessert is quite yummy.  My family loves it.   Thanks to MNHL’s Diary for sharing the recipe and thanks to my guru for some great tips.  I’ll be making more this weekend but with a lil twist 😉
