Every Tuesday, Ashley’s school would give the children cookies to eat during snack time. I do not like her to eat cookies because I find them too heaty for her. I have informed the school helper not to give any cookies to Ashley because each time, she would eat as many as 5 pieces. Instead, I would pack her some cereals like Honey Stars or Fruit Loops. I also warned Ashley not to ask for any cookies because they would cause ulcers in her mouth. She has been good so far but today, it was a different story. I think another helper went to her class to give out the snacks.
As soon as I met Ashley at the school gate, she told me that she didn’t eat any cookies *ding dong…she’s up to something already* When we were in the car, she asked me to close my eyes. I pretended to close my eyes and guess what she did? Nope, she didn’t surprise me with an artificial christmas trees 🙂 Instead she took out her tupperware and threw away the cookie crumbs….muahahahahahhahahahaa. She was so afraid that I would see them. Later I coaxed her to tell me the truth and she finally said she ate cookies in school. 7 pieces *slaps forehead*

Oh oh….
May be it’s too hard for her to resist temptations?
But nvm la, just make her drink more water now.. hehe 😉
Children nowadays are so smart! Ashley even know how to ‘destroy’ the evidence! Hahaha…. Mine will blame her friends for giving her biscuits.
Hahaha!!! So smart of her to ask mummy to close eyes first
Nice try.. hmm..
LOL… she should have clear her crumps earlier at school!^-^ Let her have more water and honey would be sufficient!
Hahaha….just like Alice Law, Ashley should throw away all the crumps earlier in school. 7 pieces is a lot. I too disallow both my kids to eat cookies. Very heaty.
hahahahhaha…Ashley must be missing “biscuit” so much, till she can eat 7 pieces!!!!!
Fearles also got heaty body, he also like biscuit, i will give him, not many but still have remind him to drink a lot water.
Poor girl… so deprived until she could wallop 7 at one go haha! Cookies are heaty? I didn’t know that. I always give Chloe biscuits for snack but she seems alright.
It’s ok lah 🙂 Better she tells you the truth :):)
Haha..she is so smart. I let Gwen eat cookies sometimes. But she is not prone to heatiness though.
I am also strict with my kids on cookies and they also ‘curi curi makan’ behind my back, but sometimes I told myself, what is childhood without cookies. Just make sure the kids drinks plenty of water, esp barley water.
Hahaha! So cute :-). I bet you don’t have the heart to be angry with her right? I think she’s smart la, think of destroying all evidence 🙂
My kids are like real cookie monsters… everyday must have cookies. I know it’s bad, trans fat and all 🙁
Haha, I guess when kids at this age, they have same syndrome that is they reveal themselves by saying something that they didn’t do or eat this without us checking on them. Also tend to say something like “mommy, close your eyes, you can not see, I got surprise for you” then when we do that, they will quickly try to “eliminate evidence”.
you cheated.. you peeked !
It’s hard to stop them from eating cookies in school. No matter how many times I told Sherilyn not to eat those biscuits with cream given by the pre school, she never listens and ate them anyway. When all their friends eat, they also want to eat :S
ah..cookies. My girl’s favorite too!!
wah lau eh … 7 pieces!!! mini or big 1? lol…she must be craving for them for too long oredy 😉
