When Ashley was a toddler, she started calling me “Mi”.Β Then it was “Mommy”. and sometimes “Mama”.Β Now?
MOMMMMMMM!!!!
“Mom, where are you”
“Yes Mom”
“Not this Mom!”
“Can I Mom?”
“Alright Mom”
Sometimes when I remind her to do her homework or drink her water, she would go “OK OK OK OK OK” as if I’m nagging her πΒ Oh the joys of motherhood!
Haha, I think you also get used to it already!
Hope you’re having a great Monday morning Barb!

Hahaha… this sounds familiar in my household too.
βYes Momβ sounds like a response from maid :p

LOL !!! My son still call me Mummy. But yes, I know the remarks they make when we nag them!
ehh, actually my buffalos still call mameeeee…. at times i was thinking if it’s time to change that but then why not, if they can continue until adulthood, it’ll be sweet u know, haha
on my nags….u’ll feel like slapping them seeing their reactions & hearing their remarks … sad π
My girls when really young that time, called me “mi” too. Now, they still called me mummy, very rare to hear them calling me “mama”. I like them calling me mummy, sound very sweet.
So many variations π For me, it has been the same old “mummy” since she was a baby… not that I’m complaining tho. Sure feels good to be called a “mom” regardless of the sound π
My 3 kids called me differently.. the boys call me Mi and my girl calls me MA MEE!!
My son calls me mom π Yan Yan calls me mummy π My hub call me mama π
Ha..my girl also gives me similar reaction as Ashley when ask her to do homework. Sometimes she even closes her ears if I ask her too many times.
