Children’s Day Goodies Bags

Ashley’s kindy is celebrating Children’s Day tomorrow.Β  Inspired by a craft I saw at Pinterest, I made something for her classmates πŸ™‚Β  We went to the supermarket for our regular grocery shopping, shampoos and also to get these for the Children’s Day projectΒ  ….

p1

Candies, Chocs & Marshmallows.Β  I put all these into a long plastic bag which is meant for making ‘Ice-Cream Potong’.Β  They were given to me by Annie.Β  To seal the bags, I got the inspiration from Zakka Life (http://www.zakkalife.blospot.com) to make some Twist Tie with colourful masking tapes.

p2

First I bought some wires from the DIY store.

p4

Cut a piece of wire and place in the center of the tape.

p5

Place another piece of tape on top and voila, I have a cute Twist Tie.

p7

Made a bunch of them

p6

This is how I twist tie the goody bag.

p8
These are the goody bags….all set for the kids tomorrow.
