Craft Love

I did another craft recently and I got the inspiration from Pinterest (where else eh?).  I’m in the crafting mood these days so do bear with me…hehehehe.  This is actually a gift for a birthday girl.  I bought a RIBBA frame from Ikea for this project.

These are the colourful wrapping papers which I bought from Parkson.  They are thicker than the normal wrapping papers.  Love the hearts.

First, I removed the inner cardboard frame and the glass.

Cut out a piece of the hearts wrapping paper and paste it onto the brown backing.

I took out 2 cute pegs and wondered which one would look nice on the frame.

Decided to use the Green Butterfly and hot glued it.

I cut out the alphabet A from a cardboard and used a purple paper to cover it.  The letter A is the first alphabet of the birthday girl’s name.  I also pasted a little green flower at the corner.

The photo frame is ready.  I put Ashley’s photo there as an example on how it would look like 🙂  A very easy DIY.

Wow! You so rajin to do some personalisation work on the photo frame. I would have just gift wrapped it in that lovely wrapper and that’s it!

This is nice. For me, I am lazy, I would just put the pic, no decoration at all, hehe.

Nice one! Good idea to decorate the frame with colorful present paper. I still got one unused plain frame, time to get my brain and hands working 😀
