A continuation post on our trip to Bangkok 🙂 One or 2 more posts more regarding our trip and I hope I am not boring you all. On the second night, our friends took us out on a Dinner Cruise along the Chao Phraya River. It was simply marvellous. Bangkok is so beautiful at night and we got to see the shimmering temples, the Grand Palace, skyscrapers, historical landmarks and the magnificent Rama 8 bridge all lighted up.
We began the journey at the River City Pier
The Chao Phraya River
The restaurants along the pier
Walking around the pier and enjoying the breeze
Yay, the boat has arrived.
As soon as we boarded, we were entertained by a group of Thai classical dancers. There was also a live music band throughout the journey. We had Japanese and Thai buffet dinner that night and food was very good. The cruise took about 2 hours.
Checking out the view
Us on the upper deck enjoying the spectacular view and breeze.
This is such an unforgettable occasion for us. A must-try if you are in Bangkok 🙂
must go Bangkok one day!
We have been to this river cruise before at Bangkok, but not as a dinner cruise. Ours is more like a day cruise where we can hop off after the boat reaches certain destination along the river. This is indeed a worth going cruise.
I have been to Bangkok once for training. I would love to go with my family one day. Nice cruise. Thanks for the recommendation. 🙂
Bangkok has become a very famous tourist spot these few years.
