Authentic Italian Pasta From Tesco

We usually frequent Tesco at Kepong Village and that is where the Tesco head office is.   There is just something different about this Tesco compared to their other outlets.  You can find many good bargains here every now and then.  A few months ago, hubs many good stuff at their Bargain Corner like cookware, picnic essentials, swimming trophies and this 3-Ring Pool.  It cost RM30 plus.  Other outlets were selling them at RM90 each.   He quickly bought one since it is so cheap 🙂  It’s still in a box though.

Then yesterday when hubs was there, he bought this ….

The Italian Tagliatelle at only RM1.50.  What a good deal right?  We can’t even buy a bowl of noodle with RM1.50.  A week ago, he bought the same one at RM3.50 and yesterday the price went down to RM1.50.   Since we are all pasta lovers, he bought a few packets 🙂  This Italian Tagliatelle is low on the glycemic index.   I am not sure how much is it selling at other Tesco outlets now so if you are a pasta fan, you may want to check it out.

WOW, RM1.50 for a packet of pasta is a steal!! My girls love pasta. The next time we go to TESCO Old Klang Road, I’ll check the price. Even at RM3.50, it is still cheap, considering that it is imported from Italy!

  3. Angeline says:

That is very cheap. We love pasta too…

  4. RM1.50 for a pack of pasta is really cheap…some more made in Italy :).

I have not been to Kepong Village cos is consider quite far from my place and hence never know that the price over there in (Tesco) is so much cheaper or more promotions than other outlet. Maybe should drop by one day.

Wow, good buys huh? We have a Tesco Extra here but I hardly visit cos most of the items are usually sold in bulk. Maybe I shd keep a lookout for those small corners, etc or such good buys?

Tell me about it haha. I’m forever “lurking” in Tesco, rummaging through their Stok Akhir goods. I always buy very fresh fruits and veges at 80-90% off the normal price! E.g. RM0.20 for a bag of potatoes… fresh potatoes, not rotten ones 😉
