A few months ago, we actually adopted a puppy and Ashley named him Pepa. Later, we found out that Ashley is allergic to dog’s fur so with a heavy heart, Pepa has to stay in the office warehouse together with gung gung’s dogs. Hubs decided to get the missy a new pet and earlier today they picked out not one but 2 err…… crawfishes?

The missy says they want to watch the telly too so Libby (female) and Lobby (male) now are placed next to her *roll eyes* She and hubs have been very busy looking / playing with them. I wonder how long this would last.

ya..look like lobster or a type of prawn too. Where is the picture of Pepa? I wanna see too!
Rest assure it won’t last long. Children are like that. Soon they will pass the lobsters, snails or turtles to you. I knew, my children are like that too! 🙂

Do provide them with homes like empty tube pipes or small containers so they feel safe n can hide away. They loves their terorities and not like others to share same space. 1 tank = 1 crayfish. 1 tank plus 2 small homes = 2 crayfish.

I’m very lazy to have any pet. I was secretly very happy when my daughter decided to return our 1-day old hamster to the previous owner :p
But it’s educative to have pets. Teaches the children to be more responsible and caring (in order not to starve them), hehe!

Libby and Labby, cute names. My girls are still having fish as their only pet.
I keep fish as pet when I was a kid, and still loved the hobby when I grown up. I think keeping pets is a good way to teach children to be responsible and taking care of others.
