Last Sunday, we participated in our first family fun run at Sri Hartamas. Jog For Hope 2013 is an annual jog-a-thon organized by the Pre-U students of Taylor’s College. All funds from the Jog-a-thon will be donated to the Positive Shelter Home is an NGO that takes care of the children and women who are abandoned by their families and have no means of taking care of themselves.
We left our home at 6.30am and made our way to Sri Hartamas. The flag off was at 7.30am and we finished our 3km Fun Run in less than an hour. I think the route was more than 3km that day. Ashley ran quite a fair bit and we are so proud of her. After a while she said she was tired and had chest pain so she walked with hubs while I ran most of the way. I stopped about 500 meters before the finishing line to wait for them so that the three of us can cross it together. We had loads of fun and hope to participate in more runs soon.

Way to go!! It is my hope to get my girls and hubs to participate in a Run or Marathon together too. Hopefully that’ll come true 🙂
Well done! I want to join in such run in future too.
I went for my very first run on that day too (great eastern run)!! So “syiok” hor?
Well done! Keep it up!!
