Where To Find Budget Hotels In Penang

It has been ages since I stepped foot into Penang. If I am not mistaken, the last time I was there was in the 80’s. Yes, it is that long. Really crazy right? I still remember having a great time in Batu Feringgi with my family.  I always see my friends posting about Penang and how glorious the food is especially the Assam Laksa, Hokkien Mee, Rojak and many more yummylicious food along Gurney Drive.  Just thinking about these is enough to make my tummy rumble. I would love to tour around Georgetown to see the unique painted wall murals by Ernest Zacharevic  and the wrought-iron caricatures.

Though I have been wanting to visit Penang again, we would somehow overlooked it and booked our holidays to Malacca, Ipoh or Langkawi instead.  I think one of the reasons is because the accommodation in Penang is rather expensive, especially during school holidays or public holidays.  We could only plan our holidays around this time of the year because we do not want missy to skip school.

Good news is that I have discovered where we can find Penang budget hotels recently.  I spent some time looking through the iBilik.my website and found some really good deals.  iBilik.my is Malaysia’s largest and No.1 Room, Homestay, Short Term Rental website and it features over 100,000 listings posted online all across Malaysia.   Its website is very user-friendly and you can easily find accommodation from as low as rm50.  Ain’t that wonderful?  If you have a group of 5 or more people, there are rooms from as low as rm250 a night in Batu Feringgi.  Looks like we can start planning for our vacation in Penang soon.
