Have been hearing about the Market at The School, Jaya One so we decided to drop by on Saturday. It is like a flea market but vendors sell a mixture of everything from new clothes, pre-loved to food stuff. Quite interesting I must say and we love the food trucks stationed just outside The School.
We also brought along some preloved clothing which missy has outgrown and some of my clothes which I don’t wear anymore as well as some new and old but good condition toys to be donated to Jumble Station which is located in the basement of The School building.
“Jumble Station is linked to Parents Without Partners (PWP) Bhd, which currently helps about 50 single parent families. Jumble Station sells unwanted items donated by the public, which are still in good condition, and the profits are channelled to the single-parent families through various means” (excerpt from The Star newspaper).
So if you have any clothing or items like toys, household, books and etc that you no longer need, you may donate them to Jumble Station. Their website is http://www.jumblestation1.blogspot.com/.
Below are some photos taken of our lunch and the food trucks.
Mini burgers for hubs
Meatballs and mashed potatoes for missy and meatball spaghetti for me
Meatball Kingdom food truck
Churros
Coffee truck
There were more food trucks that day but I only took photos of these 2. If you love food trucks, you may want to check out The Market @ The School, Jaya One. This event is not on every weekend though.
