Can’t believe that we’re almost in mid October. Things are moving fast and we’re in the last quarter of the year. Missy is now in her third week of the new academic year at her university. Her schedule is still manageable for now but she just told me that she has joined 4 clubs like gardening, rock climbing, and another 2 which I am not sure what they are. I hope she can manage her time well, with studies and all.
On the second week of her new academic year, the Environmental Science and Society students went to Port Dickson to learn about the coastal ecosystem, the migratory birds, mangroves, seaweed and coastal invertebrates. On top of that, the students also participated in coastal cleanup activity. That sounds very fun! She had a great day although it was hot and tiring.
I found some photos of her taken during the field trip from the uni’s social media.
She is happy to go back to uni after a few months break to start her first year and she also made a lot of new friends. My hope is that she will enjoy her university life, study hard, have courage, be inspired to try new things and immerse herself in what brings her joy.
