I was browsing the internet and I came upon an article that says watching some K-dramas is great for mental health. I wholeheartedly believe in this. Watching K-drama can offer a break from everyday life, especially when there are days where it’s overwhelming and you want an escape.
K drama is a form of therapy as these stories can bring comfort. Many years ago, I can’t understand why my friends love watching K-drama and then they swoon over all the actors. Thanks to the lockdown in 2020, I decided to watch the famous “Crash Landing On You“. Like they all say, the rest is history. I have been hooked ever since. It offers an escape from reality and into a different world filled with comedy, drama and romance. Besides the incredibly imaginative storytelling in those series, I just love how good the actors and actresses are.
K-dramas are not all romance and comedy. These dramas often delve into more serious topics like mental health, trauma, and overcoming adversity. The dramas often showcase characters who face challenging situations and must find ways to overcome them. It is inspiring and motivating for the viewer who may currently be facing tough times. I’ve learned a thing or two while watching “Daily Dose of Sunshine” that talks about mental health problems.
There are days that I wish I can just do nothing but binge-watch my favourite dramas all day. Right now I am watching “Good Partner” online and I still have 2 more episodes to go. It is one of the best ones I have watched so far. Will be on the lookout for a new one to watch once this one ends.

One of my friends who is also a die-hard K-drama fan has this motto that says “No Drama But K-drama“. It means the only drama we want in our lives are only K-drama and nothing else *chuckle*
