My DIY Chinese New Year Wreath For 2026

I just DIY a Chinese New Year wreath for my house. I do this every year to hang it at the front door. I wasn’t in the mood to celebrate so I only did it a few days ago after seeing some wreaths at the market. I recycled the twig and tassel from last year’s wreath, and add on the large and small peonies. I also added a plastic red plant.

After hanging this wreath, I read that houses facing South should avoid red this year. So happens I saw some purplish peonies from a hamper sent to my office. I decided to change the wreath with different coloured flowers. Added a plastic gold plant and pink tassel this time.
