I chanced upon www.justlittlethings.net which has a list of little things we should appreciate in life. We often take things for granted. It is a good reminder that we try to appreciate the little things for life is too short. Here are some of mine ……
Having a cup of good coffee
Revisiting favourite childhood places
Knowing the lyrics to my favourite song
Singing it out loud when I hear it on the radio
The smell of grass after the rain
Watching a good soppy or funny movie
When I hear Ashley laugh out loud
Acting silly with my friends
Wrapping presents
The concern people show when they know I am upset or injured
Sleeping on my bed after I have changed the bedlinen
The sound of the ocean
Being around people I love
Laughing so hard that I can’t catch my breath
Going on long road trips
Logging in to Facebook on my birthday
Sitting on the beach watching a sunset
What’s yours?
thanks for sharing! love this.
Every little thing counts and it does matter 🙂
Barb, your little things are good. My little thing is to wake up not feeling tired every day.
My little things that make me feel good is when my kids all behave well – no whining, no crying, no temper tantrums and just listen to whatever I say and getting enough sleep 🙂
when someone gives me a hug, eating my favourite tofu, hearing the laughs of bff.
Yes, it’s the little things in life that makes us the happiest. I appreciate the happy times with my family and kids where we played and laughed a lot.
spending some wonderful time with hubby and daughter, watching them playing peek a boo, my daughter’s laughter, play chasing game, enjoying morning breeze esp after the rain, even a wave of hand from my neighbourhood security guard also (not that I like him lol), thanks to you, at least now I must stop a while and appreciate what we got.
Spending quality time together with my family is the most important thing to me.
So sweet of you, I reckon being appreciate the little things in life= live life to fullest!;D
This is a great list! I love a good cup of coffee…listening to the waves on a beach…cuddling up with a good book…and of course snuggles from my little boy!

My little things are the wet smooch mark QQ leaves on my cheek, feeling the first raindrop on my head, whiffing at soup bubbling in the slow cooker, getting an email from an old friend, …
