Last week during school break, Ashley and I spent 2 days at home instead of going to the office. After lunch one afternoon, the missy went to her bedroom and closed the door. After an hour or so, I went upstairs to check on her. She was lying on her bed, listening to songs on YouTube . Only 8 years old this year but she reminds me of myself when I was a teenager. I love being alone in my bedroom doing my own thing 🙂
Guess kids need their ME time as much as we parents do. 🙂

She looks so relax and comfortable on her bed. I wish to be like her too.
That is why I always appreciate the times I had with my boy. It will be soon when the child need some ME times on their own.

I’ve always wanted my own room when I was younger but sadly I had to wait until I was 18 when my sister got married and moved out… 18 long years! Ashley is such a lucky girl 🙂

Gosh, can you believe our girls are moving towards their own life? Mine would spend hours in her room while I chat with my mom over the phone. When I check upon her, she’ll be either busy doing some art or playing dolls with her brother.
Alycia now loves being in her room to do things that she likes too. She also has a mind of her own now and is getting harder to deal with her now 🙁
Love her room. Has she start sleep in her own room or she still bed pool with you? heheheh
