Ashley’s bottom milk tooth is lose and a new one is coming out. So we thought it’s better not to wait for it to fall out on its own and took her to the dentist today. We went to one near our house. Discovered that one of her permanent molar has a hole 🙁 Sigh. Wonder how come her tooth decay that fast. She brushes twice a day and hardly eat sweet stuff. The tooth extraction was fast and painless. The dentist just put some numbing gel on her gums and pulled it out within seconds. As usual, Ashley loves going to the dentist. This trip cause a hole in my pocket *ouch*. We usually go to Smile Clinic but their appointments are full. Must find another dentist soon to take care of her decay tooth.
Testing!
Hmm got to take her teeth very well.
Maybe she needs to brush her teeth nicely. So fast there’s a hole? funny right?
My son’s teeth is very nice too. Seldom eat sweet things. Right now, I’ve check his teeth once a while. See there’s any permanent tooth is coming out then got to brng him over to the dentist.
Hebe’s one not that nice. She struggled with me every time when comes to brush her teeth. Naughty girl.
wow .. Ashley is not afraid of dentist and tooth extraction?! So good. Just discovered my girl got 3 cavities!!! Luckily all filled yesterday.
Chew Lee, Is filling more scary or extraction? She needs to go for one 🙁
I think filling is more scary, I hate it till now :O If the tooth is already very loose, it is painless to remove it. How much did you spend on this extraction? The last time Sherilyn went to have her tooth removed effortlessly, it was about RM30 I think.
Shireen, it cost rm85 for a freaking tooth that is already loose. Another rm45 for consultation. So that was why i was complaining 🙁
I also don’t understand why Ashley’s permanent tooth got cavity..*scratches head*. Ashley is really brave to go for the extraction.
I’m surprised that Ashley already has a permanent molar. Cavities are not only caused by sweet food. I’ve been told that swallowing toothpaste with fluoride (accidentally over a period of time) can cause cavities too. Chloe has been flossing her teeth daily and rinsing her mouth after food since her toddlerhood but during her recent teeth check up, I was told that she had 2 cavities. So upsetting!
According to the dentist, the one with the cavity is a permanent molar although I thought the molars she has are milk teeth 🙁 Sigh
which reminds me..I better spot check my kids’ teeth. They brush their own teeth but you’d never know…sometimes..shortcuts can lead to serious damages – on the teeth and our pockets!
