I am delighted to know that a new cafe has opened in the busy and vibrant neighbourhood of Overseas Union Garden. Cafes have been popping up in this part of the city since last year. The Hound Cafe is the new kid on the block and it is located above a Chinese Medical Hall. As a coffee lover, we decided to check it out over the weekend.

Ice Cafe Latte and Creme Brulee for me. They were good. Didn’t get to try other cakes as we went after dinner and were quite full.
There is another section inside the cafe which is for smokers (I think) and those who like enjoy a cuppa with their pooch. Don’t be surprised to be greeted by a cute beagle called Cookie. It is their resident pooch. When I was there, I saw 2 customers with their French Bulldog at this ‘open-air’ section of the cafe. I don’t think we can bring Buffy here as she may run wild and terrorizes this place.
I like the look of raw cement finish here. Very minimalist design.

We will be back to try out other food and drinks in their menu. It is a nice dog-friendly cafe for us to hangout during weekends.
