How is your First Day of 2009? Did you go anywhere today? Well, we all stayed at home. Too lazy to go anywhere. The crowds at the mall are pretty scary these days 🙂 This morning, a pretty and nice mommy dropped by with her toddlers. We had a great time chatting and eating. She brought so much food to try to fatten me up 😀 Will blog about her visit in another post 😀
After she left, I spent 20 minutes standing in front of the mirror plucking the gray hairs on my head. I was shocked to find so many have sprouted. I know I have a lot of those pesky hair but I never knew I have that many. I think I plucked more than 20 of them and there are still a lot hiding in there. Boy, do I hate to see them. Most of them are short ones which means those new ones coming out are GRAY!!!! *sobs* I’m getting old *sobs sobs* I better go dye my hair for the CNY 😉 There is this old saying that for every gray hair you pluck, two will grow back? I heard that’s one of the biggest hair myths. What about you? Do you have any gray hairs? Are you a plucker too like me?
Hey Barb..happy NY!! Oooo…that reminds me, I did that (pluck grey hair) just a couple of days back. I believe in the myth too but old already, need to accept so I just don’t care la…I pluck away! LOL…
You are smart to stay at home on New Year’s day. We went to MId Valley around 2 pm. Oh my, traffic was bad upon reaching MId Valley. We made a detour to Sunway Pyramid and it was so difficult to get a carpark. Luckily, we spotted a couple walking towards their car…hehe..and we got the carpark.
I’m getting old too. 🙁 Sometimes when my hubby saw my grey hair, he would pluck for me. Once he started plucking, he will find more. There are easily a dozen once my hubby starts plucking them..huhuhu..so sad

Not only u la, me also got a lot grey/white hair! My hair dresser told me, the area that u pluck the grey hair, it will grow more and it will always around that “area”. 🙁 But everytime i see it, i also cannot stand, i must pluck it. hahha
Can’t wait to find out who that pretty mom is. I stayed home too on New Year’s day.
Happy New Year! Finding grey hairs is depressing isn’t it? Even more so when it’s your 9 year old daughter doing it. Time for me to head to the hair salon before CNY. Like you, I am finding the new hairs that are coming out and turning grey..Sob!
