what is motherhood?

You hide in the bathroom to be alone.

You use your own saliva to clean your child’s face

You say it at least once a day that you are not fit to be a mother but you know you will not trade it with anything else in the world

You only have time to read the newspaper when you are in the toilet.  This is known as multi-tasking.

You say you are going to bed but instead detour to the kitchen to make sure that you have the food ready for the family’s breakfast tomorrow,  head over to the laundry room to fold the laundry, go to the children’s bedroom to check on them, making sure that they sleeping well, pick up any toys or books lying on the floor and switch off the lights.  When you finally go to bed, your husband is already in bed, snoring away.

This is Motherhood 😉

An honest post.. esp the part about using “your saliva to clean your child’s face”.. Agree that we would not trade it for another role.

hahahahah, very funny and real, barb. agree wholly on the 5th point! i like the picture – mothers are indeed very “negative”-looking with kids. the more the “negative-st”

hahhhaa..i think it’s more like the mother is much older and stressed up. i think there are eye bags too.
