The First Few Days Of The Hoppity Year

Ashley and I went back to Ipoh in my dad’s car to celebrate the Chinese New Year since hubs was not around to celebrate with us this year.   We had a great time with our relatives and friends.  On the First Day, everyone would gather at my aunt’s house.  Ashley received lots of angpows as usual and she had a loads of fun with my cousin’s kids, playing with their toys and rolled about on the area rug.  She did say she missed her daddy and kept asking me to call him 😛  We spent Day 2 at my aunt’s house too and also visited my friends.  We left Ipoh on Day 3 and the journey back to KL was quite bad.  Traffic was bad 🙁  Anyway, it’s so nice to back home and hubs came back yesterday too.  Ashley was so happy to see her daddy and kept hugging him 🙂
