How I De-stress

When I was a stay-at-home mom, I used to watch Oprah reruns on tv and also TVB dramas since I’m a big fan.  Ashley was younger and she slept more then so I had time to watch my favourite shows.  Ever since I went back to work last year, I haven’t had much time to watch my shows.  When Ashley goes to bed, I would go too because I need my minimum 7 to 8 hours of sleep every night 😀  My eyes cannot open if I were to stay up to watch.

Since about a month ago, I decided to allocate at least an hour every night to watch my favourite TVB dramas.  This is one of the ways for me to de-stress (besides retail therapy) *wink*  So far, I managed to watch No Regrets, When Lanes Merge and Sisters of Pearl.  These are last year’s dramas and I am slowly catching up 🙂  How do you de-stress?

Before marriage, I used to watch Wah lai toi every night after dinner with the family. Now, I get to watch nothing except cartoons 🙁 So, I de-stress by getting out of the house to pamper myself with facial and massage and of course, retail therapy too 🙂

oh gosh, tell me about it. it’s playhouse disney or the disney channel every day. i have a pact with ashley now. 7.30pm to 8.30pm is mommy’s time to hog the tv 😀 she can play with her toys or read her books during that one hour but she ends up asking me tons of questions about the show every time when i’m watching it. “why is the man dead?” “where is she going”? “what happened to them”? *slap forehead*
