Lately, Ashley has been asking us to buy her a lot of things whenever she sees them on TV. She would say, “Mommy, buy the Barney T-shirt“, “I want the Oreo cookies“, “I want the Mickey Mouse gloves” and etc. So, daddy decided to get her a piggy bank and encourage her save money to buy whatever she wants. Hubs was kinda picky and wanted to only get her a piggy bank in the form of a pig and one that is not easily breakable. Last weekend, we went to 1Utama and he remembered seeing a piggy bank at one of gift shops earlier. He went round looking for the shop and managed to find this cute pink piggy bank.
It’s quite big and I guess the lil’ missy would have to collect a lot of coins before we can open it 😀
As soon as we reached home, we gave her some coins and she couldn’t wait to put them in.
She was busy carrying it around for the next few days and never fail to get coins from us whenever she hears the jingling sounds of the coins. Now that she has the piggy bank, she would ask to buy more things. When I tell her that I don’t have any money, she would say, “take the piggy” O_O
