My husband is a rather funny guy. He does not like to use the shower gel and prefers soap bars instead. Many years ago, he was using the shower gel and one fine day, my MIL gave him some soap bars (pls don’t ask me why she gave him those bars). Since that day, he began using the soap bars. We have all kinds of shower gels at home but he said he still prefers soap bars because, according to him, they clean better *slaps forehead*
A few days ago, he reminded me to get him some and was wondering if he could still find the ones he used as a kid. It’s the green one with a picture of a bird in the front. We couldn’t remember the name then and today while at the store, he saw the following soap bars.
He was so happy and quickly bought a packet of 3. He thought they had changed the colour of the soap wrapper to blue. When he came home, he remembered that the one he used as a kid was called Popinjay 😀 The one he bought today is called Parrot Botanicals and it is definitely the wrong one….muhaaahaaahaahaa. They still smell the same as Popinjay but they are not Popinjay 🙂 He can’t stand the fruity smell of some of the shower gels but he can stand this weird blue soap. Now my whole bathroom has this funny floral smell. Yuck!

Haha..yr hubby is so funny la. I think I used this soap bar before when I was a kid. Wow..they still exist ah..:P
LOL! Your hub and mine can shake hand la. He prefers this odd inscent smelling soap from China. This soap has so much coloring in it..my shower stall was stained by it. Now, I just buy him Dove soapbar.

I remember the Popinjay soaps during my younger days. Now, it’s only shower gels for us, less scum in the shower.

I used to use liquid soaps also. But my MIL bought so many soapbars (she says it’s cheaper mah….sigh….), I am forced to use it.
But… it does clean better. It’s also more economical! 😉
