Last Saturday on the way back to the car after dinner, it started to drizzle. I kept telling Ashley to walk faster as the rain was getting heavier. When she reached the car, she took her own sweet time climbing into it and was talking, asking questions nonstop. Then once she’s inside the car, she took her own sweet time to sit on the car seat. Our car was already moving and I have not strap her up yet. I was pretty mad and this was what I said to her :-
Me : Ashley, hurry up and sit properly. I have limited patience.
Ashley : I have limited patience TOO.
Now, does she know the meaning of limited patience? And, why did she add the word “too” after that? Guess we are entering a different phase now….the “talking-back” phase O_O
hahahhaha, now our kids are in the phase that always make us :o, but sometime we find it funny too.
Perhaps kids repeat after what we said??
hahaha.. so funny!~
LOL…what a come back. So adorable but at the same time, makes one very geram…dunno to laugh or scold or what – simply speechless…
Hahahaha….it’s a whole new phase!
when they talk back when young, it might sound cute.. but when they r in their teens, it is a different story..haha.. anyway, as the saying goes..kids are to be heard and seen.. .not like out days.. can be seen but cannot be heard..
mine in their teens.. frankly speaking, i find boys easier to take care than girls… agree?
wahhh i sure flick Kylie’s lips if she did that to me! but hor i doubt she understood why u had to hurry lerr…

Hi Barbara, you just wait when she reaches 16. It’ll be “ohhhh Mom, you just don’t understand…”! Ha ha.
We have friends with teenage daughters and one say, “aiyaaa, I got three boys, no problems, one girl, I get white hair”. ha ha.
One said, “my daughter got angin la, 13 years old…tell me I don’t understand her”, ha ha.
Oh well, thats the fun of having kids….and don’t forget, she’ll be giving you grandchildren, most probably girls too, and you’ll be doting on them, ha ha.
Have fun Babs, Lee.
Hehehehee…. more to come… I have one here!
Aiyo..don’t know to laugh or to be angry at her..hehe. I sure blood boil if my girl talk back to me.

sometimes, u just wonder how the kids know how to use certain words during certain times???
shan leo surprises us at times too!! and when he does that, i will look at mummy, and she will look at me, and we shake our head *haha*
hahhah…. yes…they now know how to use our words against us. i get that alot from my Ashley too!
