33 years to be exact, my mom brought me and my sister to Cameron Highlands for the very first time.ย Below is a photo of me and my sister at the Chinese temple in Cameron Highlands.ย At that time, the temple was still being constructed.
I am the one wearing the checked jacket ๐ย See how chubby I was?ย This is my mom’s favourite photo of us. She even kept my jacket all these while and recently, she found it in one of the boxes and passed it back to me.ย So,ย I got Ashley to try it on and asked her to pose for me ๐ย My vintage jacket fits her nicely …hahahahaha
Doesn’t want to open her eyes and look at the camera.
Another one of her famous head-tilting pose
hey..the jacket is nice…..
WOW! That is sooo amazing! I think it’s wonderful that it was kept so long…and so well too! No mildew or anything?
U must go to Cameron’s n take same picture now..
HAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!
No mildew at all. The fabric is still ok and I’m surprised that the belt buckle is still shiny. You know what? I am actually planning to go to Cameron again and will bring the jacket along. Hopefully Ashley can sit on the same steps and take a photo ๐
hey, your vintage jacket very fashionable wor.. I have one ‘vintage’ too, maybe I should blog abt it but sadly, I wore it when i was 7yrs old and for Amber,it’s too tight and she’s only 3. That’s how skinny I was before !

I have a few pix taken at those steps too! I know that Chinese temple, we used to go there every year during CNY w/o fail for decades! My dad was born in Camerons. There is also a section of the temple where there’s a huge dragon right? And that vintage jkt still looks so fashionable.
