Sunday is the only day where I get to eat whatever I want. It is my “No Diet” day but I still cannot go overboard with my eating. Usually I would have noodles for brunch and dinner. Last Sunday, we went to The Gardens as hubs wanted to check out some auto accessories at a shop in Mid Valley. My mom and sister came along and we had our lunch at one of the Chinese restaurants (I forgot the name). Just before we left, we had coffee and some snacks at SBread. They are famous for their freshly baked Bamboo Charcoal bread and special kayas. Since it’s a No Diet Day, I ordered a piece of Bamboo Charcoal bread with Taro (yam) kaya. Mmmm….delicious.
Fattening but sinfully delicious
Hubs ordered the Mee Siam and he said it is really good.
Chicken Rendang with Sesame Toast
Garlic Bamboo Charcoal Bread to be eaten with Mushroom Soup.
Mushroom Soup
It was a very good and satisfying meal. The food was delicious, especially the breads. They are so fresh and soft. If you are in Mid Valley, don’t forget to check out SBread. They are located at the Lower Ground Floor where all the eateries are.
I heard the assam laksa is also v good. Reserve it for your next no diet day ok ? I prefer kopi at Nyonya Colors across,, which is so so much better.. and I’m going to have one tonight.. LOL !
haven’t tried the assam laksa though. must try it next time 🙂 hey, the kopi at Nyonya Colors suck big time. Only their food is good. Actually, the kopi at My Toasts is da best 😉
The Bamboo Charcoal bread looks yummy
i second! i love this place also.
The food here is rather different and unique…interesting place!
Thanks for sharing this. I will check it up if I go KL again.
Food looks delicious, especially the Sesame bread. Too bad we don’t have any here.. 🙁

I love their taro kaya too. Oh my, the garlic spread on the charcoal bread looks so good. The rendang and toast too. I must check them out again when I next go to The Gardens.
I’ve heard so much about this charcoal bread but never tried before. It’s so black, like very geli lah… but I think I’ll give it a try soon 🙂
The black bread looks “different” but I guess it must be good, you seem to like it so much 🙂
I didn’t get where is SBread..hehe. Is it somewhere nearby Nyonya Colors? 😀
The charcoal bread so hitam..haha..can’t believe it tastes good. I’m drooling for anything spicy e.g: the rendang!!
Sbread must give you some discount already, you always “advertise” their charcoal bread. So far i have not try that yet. 🙁 Now you make me so hungry, it’s supper time! hahahhahaha
ha hah…… I like the concept of a “no diet day” 😉
The yam kaya (reminds me of bubur cha cha) and charcoal bread looks really yummy. I’ll definately look out for it when I’m in MidValley next time.
Charcoal bread?? Hm… something new to me. Will try it out if I’ve the chance to go down to KL… 😛
Wow, that’s interesting! Looks good …. drooling already!!
