Time to reveal what lil project I had been working on Hmmm, judging from the title of my post, I am sure you all know what they are already. I was kinda busy for the past few weeks as I was looking for ideas on how to do the party packs for Ashley’s picnic birthday celebration. I wanted to do something different after seeing all those craft blogs out there. So creative and inspiring! Anyway, I decided to do Flower Lollipops for the girls and Superheroes Lollipops for the boys. I got the Superheroes Lollipops idea from www.zakkalife.blogspot.com.
First, I cut out heart shapes from brown paper bags and colourful paper dividers that you get from binder files. Punch a hole at the end of the heart shape.
Got some lollies from Daiso and also Chup Chups
Slide the lollies into the heart-shaped papers. Voila…flower lollipops
I got the template for the superheroes capes and masks from Zakka Life. Printed and cut them out. Punched a hole at the top of the cape and slide in the lollipop.
Superheroes Lollipops
I got some white paper bags from my sister and pasted the thank-you note on the front. Managed to find 2 superheroes and a fairy in pink cartoon *smile*
Tadaa….the party packs all ready for the party. What’s in the party packs? Lollies, rice crackers, sweets and marshmallows
I had a lot of fun preparing them. Do you DIY your kids’ party packs?
What a creative idea! My boy got his superheroes lollipop with star printed cape.
Those lollies are so cute. Love them! I DIY my kid’s party packs too. BTW where can I get those white paper bags? They are lovely. I’ve used the brown ones as party packs before. I don’t even know where to get those – got them from my SIL in Penang.
Hey Mom2kiddos, I got the white paper bags from my sister who bought them for her food business. She told me she ordered them from a supplier in Penang
You have to order in bulk though. If i see any in KL, i’ll let you know, ok?
Barb, u r good la.. really make effort for the party!
The party packs are so neat and nice Barbara! You’re such a nice mummy~ hehe =)
Wow! So much effort to make those party packs. But it really paid off because they were so beautiful, especially the superheroes lollipops.
I’ll steal this idea when I plan for my children’s birthday parties in future
