Since my dad loves eating duck especially the famous Four Seasons in Bayswater, London, we celebrated his birthday at the Village Roast Duck in Bangsar Village. We have eaten in this restaurant before and enjoy the food served. It was my dad’s first time eating in Village Roast Duck. When I googled for more information, I discovered that this restaurant is opened by 4 Ipoh-born siblings who had worked for a few years in roast duck restaurants in Bayswater, London. Ahhh……fellow Ipohians. That explain the good food served here 🙂
The main dish that we ordered was the Aromatic Duck known as Heong Soh Ngap in UK. The duck is steamed and then coated with flour and deep-fried till crisp.

Thin pancakes, cucumbers, spring onions and also special tangy sauce for wrapping. It was simply delicious. We also ordered a few other dishes like prawns, siew yoke, mixed vege, wanton noodles and stir fried beef noodles.

After dinner, we adjourned to Espressamente illy for some coffee. Cupcakes from Bisou as birthday cake 😛
If you would like to visit Village Roast Duck @ Bangsar Village, be sure to go early as the queue could be very long. It is better to call and book a table beforehand.
