Children’s Day Goodie Bags

Ashley’s school celebrates Children’s Day today and the kids got to wear their own clothes to school.  Nice huh? I don’t remember being allowed to wear my own clothes to school during Children’s Day during my primary or secondary years.  Ashley was so looking forward to this day that she woke up at 4am this morning.  Too excited I guess. Initially, I was planning to make some non-baked brownies for the school but laziness got the better of me.   So I decided buy some snacks instead and prepared 45 little goodie bags for her and her classmates.

These are the snacks that I bought

I also got some cute polka dots poly bags from Daiso

Here are my simple goodie bags.  I put the snacks in the bags and tied them with yellow and orange yarns.

  2. Nice! I didn’t prepare any goodies for his classmates this year as the boy told me they would spend most of their time at the schoool hall with performances and activities. He brought home a pencil case with his school name printed on it, last year was a hankerchief and lotsa snacks and junk food.
