Ashley’s dream finally came true. She went to Kidzania (an indoor family edutainment centre which offers an interactive learning and entertainment experience for kids in a kid-sized city to deliver the first-of-its-kind edutainment fun. The KidZania experience is about real-life experiences, empowering, inspiring and educating kids through role-play) today. We went with mommy blogger, Judy whom I have known for many years but never met until today and her son, Terry. Also, meeting us at Kidaznia were Amber, her daddy and Kaylen, who is Amber’s schoolmate. Altogether there were 3 girls, 1 boy, 1 daddy and 2 mommies 🙂 The madness fun begins at 10am until 3pm.
The first task they did was at
Here is the policewoman carrying out her tasks.
After that, the kids went on to Dentistry.
a very eager dentist
The dentists checking on a patient
After ‘working’ hard and earned 18 kidzos for their 2 earlier jobs, they went to spend some money on face painting.
Their next task was to become doctors at the A&E section of the hospital. I didn’t take any photos there as Judy and I went to McDonalds for lunch and left Danny there to take care of 4 kids *chuckle*
From there, they went on to become painters……
Couldn’t go near to take photos as adults are not allowed to go near
Then the girls wanted to be beauticians…..
Manicurist hard at work, painting the nails of her customer
Next stop is the Vitagen factory where they learned the process of making their favourite drink. Everyone got a bottle after the task was completed (no photo again. Have to wait for Judy’s).
The last job for Ashley and Terry was being a chef …
They learned to make tuna sandwiches which they got to eat there 🙂
Dr. Ashley in her hospital scrub and stethoscope around her neck. Every parent’s wish to see their kids in this attire huh? Muahahahaha. This photograph cost rm20. Kidzania is making lots of moolah from suckers parents like me.
Kidzania was packed to the brim today. The kids managed to only perform 8 tasks. Her most favourite one is to become a firefighter but the 1.5 hour wait was too long. We had to give that a miss. Ashley said she wants to go to Kidzania again and again. Helpppppppp. I need to find volunteers to bring her there.
I bet all the kids have a full day of fun at Kidzania! Ashley looks so cool in all these attire.
Ashley must have had a great time!
Kidzania is very near to my SIL’s condo, will bring Aden there when he grows up later, hehehe..
Looks like Ash had lots of fun. 🙂 If you have CIMB Junior Card, you get free goodies and the photo is free (without the cover).
I take Ash next round…? 😀
GOOD!!
Barb, I have booked the tickets of this Tuesday evening session for April and May. Your post is now the guideline for me. I will show April and May this post tonight.
Barb, does Ashley want to go there again this Tuesday (4 Dec, 4pm to 9pm)?
Hey Sheoh Yan, so all of you are going? Wow, that’s great! Would love to join you all but I am so tired of running around kidzania 😛 Actually I told Ashley she can go again, provided that she studies hard this school holiday and behave herself. Hence, I think I would wait for a while before letting her go again. Thanks for the invitation Sheoh Yan. You all enjoy yourselves, ok? I bet you are going shopping first before going to Kidzania huh?
Sounds very interesting! It’s good to expose kids to this experience but I think it is quite expensive, judging from the people and facilities involved, right?
nice nice … can’t wait to see my kiddos in action next year when we are back … we will be there for sure ..
Interesting, I wish to take my son there. But hubby doesn’t have time to bring us there…next time!
I go to The Curve almost every week but believe it or not, I’ve not brought C to Kidzania 🙁 She wants to go there very badly but I dare not bring her during the school holidays. Wait lah… haha :p
Hweili, better go after the school holidays. It is madness there right now 😛
