Motherhood Question

When Ashley was a baby, I loved to smell her. I would sniff her hair, her face, her limbs…basically the whole body.  She smelled so sweet, especially after her bath.  I love the baby smell.  The combination of lotion, powders and milk create the most heavenly scent.    Even now, I still smell my 7-going-to-be-8 year old.   I would give her hair a big whiff and inhale the goodness though she has the sweaty smell especially after school.

Her Royal Highness when she was a toddler.

Do you still smell your kids eventhough they are not babies anymore?

Absolutely!! The not-so-pleasant-before-bath smell is just as good to me as the after bath smell. My favourite is her scalp, face and feet hehe… Ok, only when her feet are clean 🙂

Yes, I still smell my two teenagers and simply love their smell – their hair and back, especially and their pillows and bolsters and blankets too – I am a crazy mommy too. In my eyes, my teenagers are still very much my babies….
