October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

My friend and I joined the Pink Wig-a-Thon Charity Run two Saturdays ago.   The run was to increase awareness of the fight against breast cancer, in support of survivors and to remember those who had lost their lives. The run was held in Bukit Jalil Stadium and we actually signed up for the 10km run.  Unfortunately that day was very, very hazy but nevertheless, we turned up to give our support and changed it to the 5km run category.  We ran with our pink wigs on. Many breast cancer survivors also turned up for the run.   There was a carnival after that with lots of food stalls and music.
