My favourite dish during Chinese New Year

Every Chinese New Year, I look forward to this dish…..

It is steam arrowroot (ngaku) with Chinese sausages.   It is a very aromatic dish and I love the crunchiness of the arrowroot.   I can eat this a few times during the Chinese New Year period.   I don’t think the arrowroots are available all year round unless we plant them ourselves.  This makes this dish pretty unique.  What’s your favourite during the festive season?

    My favorite dish too! I love ‘yun cheong’ (liver sausage). Now I have to control my temptation and not indulge too much, else my cholesterol reading will shoot sky high! *sobs*
