Running is one of the best ways to relieve stress and improve my mood. After a long and stressful day, lacing up the shoes and hitting the pavement helps me to feel better.
According to the International Journal of Stress Management, people who exercise experience less anxiety and showed a reduced change in heart rate and blood pressure when they were placed in a stressful situation than those who did not.
I like to listen to songs when I am running. I have a Running Playlist downloaded from Joox and when I go for my running fix, I would turn it on. When the earphones are on, the world is shut off. Bliss.
