I know I know….Chinese New Year is just over. This year the festival just seems to whizz by. On my Instagram and Facebook feeds, I still see photos of people celebrating the lunar new year and the women are decked in lovely modern cheongsam or qipao. I just love wearing clothes with Chinese motifs for Chinese New Year. I started wearing cheongsam last year but this year, I could not find one that I like eventhough I started shopping since December 2018. Some cheongsam’s sleeves were too short and some have A-line cutting which I do not fancy.
Just about 2 weeks before Chinese New Year, I stumbled upon this online store – Poet on Facebook and they have the loveliest range of modern cheongsam. I am so in love.
